Friends of the Trail

Friends of the Trail is an organization of volunteers and patrons whose support protects and enhances the Trail so that generations will enjoy recreating and relaxing along the river. The goals for this organization are to raise money for trail maintenance and to increase community ownership in the trail through opportunities for members to participate in recreational and social activities, clean-ups and beautification projects through membership dues and fund raisers, to hold regular trail clean-ups, to advise NewTown about trail management and to hold social events for people who use the trail frequently.
